With ISO 9001 being a defining factor for millions of organizations and with over a million organizations worldwide certified to the ISO 9001 quality management systems standard, no organisation can afford to pay the price of not recognizing that managing quality assurance and control are essential requirements, especially for those producing and selling goods and services. This course thus focuses on the essence of quality management, which is, processes, people, management system and performance evaluation and, of course, the revised ISO 9001:2015, which is a significant change to the earlier version in addressing the key items that need to be addressed in all quality system. This course is very important as it helps participants fully understand the differences and what is required particularly on context, interested parties, leadership and risk based thinking. It also exposes participants to the ISO 9001 quality management system which formalizes specific techniques for process monitoring, control, measurement and improvement, including how internal and third party auditing provide assurance on how systems are maintained and improved.

Course Assessment

To complete this course successfully, students must achieve a passing grade of 50% or higher on the overall course. This will include assignments and option test exam.
